Data maintenance
An up-to-date contact database is the foundation of effective marketing and a requirement under GDPR. We help you clean it up.
You can do this yourself in Ovatic — the functionality is built right in. But we notice that many organisations prefer to have us do it. Understandable: you want to be sure it goes well and that nothing is lost that you might need later.
How it works
We create a selection in the rule engine based on your situation. We go through it together, so you can see exactly which contacts are included. Then we deactivate this group: personal data is removed, but transaction history and anonymised postcode are retained for analyses.
The selection remains in place so you can use it yourself going forward. You can also ask us annually whether the rule still applies, if you prefer.
