One platform, not two separate systems
Most providers offer either planning or ticketing. Want both? Then you buy two separate packages from different suppliers and have to connect them via integrations. With Ovatic, planning, ticketing, marketing and CRM are in one platform. One login, one calendar, one customer view. No integrations, no double entry, no synchronised data that still doesn't quite match.
Own product, not a reseller
Some providers in the Netherlands are agencies for foreign products. They sell software developed elsewhere. That means: less influence over the roadmap, longer lines when issues arise, and a product not specifically built for the Dutch market. Ovatic is our own product. Developed in Rotterdam, by the same team you'll reach on the phone.

We are not a startup that decided last year that culture is an interesting market. Ovatic has existed for more than 30 years. Hosted in the Netherlands
Your data is stored in the Netherlands, on Dutch servers. No opaque cloud infrastructure spread across the world. You know where your data is and which legislation applies. For public and cultural institutions working with personal data, that is not a luxury but a requirement.
Modern SaaS, not legacy
Some systems on the market run on outdated technology: locally installed, dependent on specific hardware, with updates that have to be rolled out manually. Ovatic is modern SaaS: always the latest version, accessible via the browser, secure and maintained by us. You don't need to install anything and are always up to date.
Transparent, predictable pricing
With many providers you pay per ticket sold with no ceiling: the more you sell, the more you pay, without limit. With Ovatic you work with packages that have a fixed monthly fee with included tickets. You know in advance what you'll pay, even during a sold-out season. Advice, training and support are included.
Open API: build what you want
Not every provider gives you full access to your own data. With Ovatic everything is available via an open REST API. Build your own website, connect your data warehouse, or develop a complete white-label solution. You're never locked in.
Built for multifunctional institutions
Many systems are designed for one type of institution. Ovatic is built for organisations that combine multiple functions: a building that is both a theatre, library, film house and museum. One calendar, multiple sectors, complete overview. That is not a feature added on later: it is at the core of the platform.
